We have a new Rector!
Dear Students,
We would like to announce that PhD Andrzej Ramlau has been named the new Rector of the Warsaw Film School. He is associated with our School from the very beginning of its existence, an outstanding cinematographer and a respected lecturer who made a significant contribution to the development of film art in Poland.

PhD Andrzej Ramlau is the author of cinematography for over sixty films, winner of the Polish Filmmakers Association and the Association of Cinematographers awards for lifetime achievement; in 2013, he was awarded the Gloria Artis Medal for Merit to Culture by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
His artistic achievements and experience in the audiovisual industry make our Rector one of the leading authorities in the field of film. However, His Magnificence brings not only knowledge, but also a great passion for education, thanks to which he has been inspiring subsequent generations of young filmmakers for years.
We encourage you to send your congratulations, and we wish His Magnificence fruitful cooperation with the entire academic and artistic community of our School.
